Functionalities & Duties Of Coordinators

As the Chief Coordinator for the upcoming “Run for Jesus – 2025” event, you will play a key role in guiding and inspiring your team to ensure a successful and meaningful rally. The ideal candidate for this role should demonstrate strong leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to ecumenical values

  • RFJ Rally: An Ecumenical Event

The RFJ Rally is ecumenical in nature, bringing together people from diverse Christian traditions. As a coordinator, it is essential to uphold ecumenical values by treating all pastors, leaders, volunteers, and participants equally, fostering unity and inclusivity.

  • Building the Core Team

The Coordinator should convene a meeting with local church pastors, elders, youth leaders, and women leaders to introduce the vision of RFJ. From this gathering, a Core Team of at least 12 committed members should be formed, ensuring a mix of skills and backgrounds, including a minimum of 6 youth leaders.

  • Fundraising and Financial Accountability

To ensure the success of the event, the Chief Coordinator must explore multiple avenues for fundraising, including sponsorships from participating churches and local businesses. Financial transparency is key—maintain clear records to build trust with donors and partner churches.

  • Planning the RFJ Rally

With the Core Team’s input, the Coordinator should carefully plan all aspects of the rally, including:

  • Route map
  • Flag-off and Closing Program
  • Logistics (water, transport, sound, worship team, etc.)
  • Coordination with Aradana TV

For any new location hosting an RFJ Rally, the Coordinator must consult with Aradana TV and obtain their approval before proceeding with the event. By embracing these responsibilities, you will help create a powerful and inspiring Run for Jesus – 2025!
